The Trustees of the Castlemilk Hall are delighted that drainage works start on Monday 5 January and are expected to last about 5 weeks. These works are funded by FCC Communities Foundation and EB Scotland which are not-for-profit businesses that award grants for community projects through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund.
We do not expect this project to inconvenience either the nursery, our near neighbours or the community in Carmunnock and are grateful for all support.
These works, illustrated in above plan, address drainage issues which have impacted on the building's structure, pathways and have constrained access to the Children's Play Area. They prepare the way for our future developments; an accessible toilet, additional storage and a permanent ramp designed to welcome all.
