The Castlemilk Hall are delighted to be awarded the following grants for our Repair and Restoration Project Phase 1 which recognises the need to conserve our village hall, built in 1893, in keeping with its heritage :

• £3,250 from Stafford Trust for Contributing Third Party Funding.

• Total Funding Secured - £198,470.62
The Trustees have also been greatly supported by Graeme Pert, Conservation Architect, the Rizza Consultancy and Carmunnock Community Council who have loaned £4030.83 for Contributing Third Party Funding.
We have been significantly encouraged and supported by the Community Gardeners, the Drama Club, Studio 32 concert and as well as the villagers of Carmunnock who have participated enthusiastically in all village events: whisky and gin tasting, Burns Supper, Tipsy Trails, Musical evenings to name a few.
Our Repair and Restoration Project Phase 2 will include an accessible washroom and ramp in keeping with the heritage of the building.
Phase 3 will involve refurbishing the kitchen, toilets and meeting rooms as well as tile work and other heritage features.
As you will note, we really need your support, verbally, in writing and in person to keep the momentum going which will attract funders as we go along. None of this would be possible without the people of Carmunnock and your various contributions including to the Carmunnock Survey which was another catalyst for funding from outside stakeholders.
We expect Phase 1, roof, clocktower, stonework and windows to take place in July and August and be complete by September, with drainage finalised by October 2025.
Our sincere and grateful thanks.
